What degree did you pursue and why?

I pursued a Master of Science in Management degree to supplement my psychology degree with business management skills.

Why did you choose the Belk College of Business over others?

UNC Charlotte has provided a safe haven for me to grow and become the best I can be.

What activities were you involved in when not working/studying?

Volunteering with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools; obtaining certifications (BB&T Emerging Leaders Certification; CPCC Non-Profit Development Seminar Series)

What was the best part of your academic experience? Is there a particular “a-ha moment” that stayed with you after you graduated?

The people I came in contact with were so passionate and motivated to make things better in various ways.

How would you describe the Belk College of Business to someone considering a master’s program?

I would describe Belk College of Business as a place where amazing people and ideas come together.
